Description
Minicruise - In the Protected Marine Area of Tavolara and Punta Coda Cavallo
Departure by boat from the port of Ottiolu and navigation to the Tavolara Marine Protected Area (A.M.P.), 'the pools of Molara' and Capo Coda Cavallo. You will be fascinated by the colours and incredible transparencies of the famous 'pools of Molara' in front of the islet of the same name and by the spectacular view of the imposing Tavolara Island, also known to be the 'Smallest Kingdom in the World'.
We will sail along the 'Mountain' Island, which, at 560 metres high and with its rugged cliffs dropping sheer into the sea, will offer you a fascinating and exciting view! With a bit of luck you can
admire the passage of the adorable dolphins!
We will land for a break to be spent in total freedom, allowing you to enjoy the suggestive inlets shaped by the slow workings of the wind and the sea. You can linger on the beach, bathe, visit the ancient royal cemetery or walk along the paths perfumed by the Mediterranean maquis, of which the island is rich, and perhaps encounter the golden-toothed goats.
Lunch on board served by the crew. Leaving Tavolara, we will continue our navigation towards the coast of Sardinia to skirt some of the numerous coves, then continue for an enchanting panorama to admire and photograph the evocative bays with their incredibly crystal-clear waters.
Return to the Port of Ottiolu in the late afternoon.
