LA MADDALENA ARCHIPELAGO WITH THE 7 ISLANDS
The 7 islands of the La Maddalena archipelago
The island of La Maddalena is the largest of the more than 50 islands and islets that make up the Archipelago. Here you will find tourist information about the island of La Maddalena.
The island of Caprera is famous because of Giuseppe Garibaldi, who lived the last years of his life here. Among the island’s beaches are Cala Coticcio and Wreck Beach.
Santo Stefano is one of the main islands of the Maddalena Archipelago by size. Known for tafoni erosions in which humans have found shelter since Neolithic times and the Villamarina granite quarry.
Spargi (and Spargiotto) with its sheer fortifications and its famous Cala Corsara, Cala Granara and Cala Connari. Very white sandy beaches with exciting transparencies!

Budelli Island is the island where the famous Pink Beach is located. The presence of bryozoan skeletons and pink foraminifera has made this beach famous in Sardinia and highly sought after. How to get to the pink beach? It is forbidden, you can still see it from the boat during the tour. It is possible to disembark on the island and walk the many trails in La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. It is important to keep a reasonable distance to preserve it.
Santa Maria owes its name to the Benedictine convent of Sancta Maria de Budello. Porto Madonna Lagoon and Asinelli Pass connect it to Razzoli.
Razzoli overlooking the mouths of Bonifacio is mainly composed of rocks and little vegetation because of the wind. The 19th-century lighthouse protects the passage through the Mouths. Well worth a visit.
